Artificial Aggregates
By the smelting process in shaft furnace, it comes to the separation of the copper from unwanted impurities and these are forming shaft slag. Produced slag follows to the roll belt where is cooled down to solidify. The product, artificial stone, is created after solidification by further tumbling.
The product has possible use in:
- road buildings as an artificial stone to the unbounded and hydraulically agglutinated materials for road foundations
- exhausted mine spaces, for reconstruction of quarries and dumping sites
- technical recultivations as a filling material
