Production Programme - Zinc Sulphate

Production of zinc sulphate ZnSO₄ x 7 H₂O:

The water suspension of zinc dust from off-gases is prepared; this suspension is leached by sulphur acid by the formation of two phases, sulphate solution and insoluble remainder. Sulphate solution is afterwards going through two steps refining process. Clean solution is thickened in evaporators and afterwards is crystallized in crystallizators. At the end are the crystals centrifuged from residual solution. The final product, zinc sulphate crystal, is packed in 25kg plastic bags and ready to distribution.
